I have been asked by many people the true cost of owning a Tesla. So I decided today to total up all of my data together and produce a summary over the last nine months of energy consumption and costs incurred.

The Short Review
The Tesla Model 3 I purchased in February has been driven now for nine months and approximately 6800 miles. I've been on many road trips with work and family just before lockdown. The experience that we've all had with the car has been amazing.
My girlfriend is sometimes affected by travel sickness in many cars in the past. On the collection day I arrived at her house after collecting my Tesla model 3, we drove around 60 miles back to my house the experience for her was great and in her own words, it was one of the most smooth, gentle journeys that she had been on in a car. She hasn't experienced any travel sickness and all journeys since that first trip in my car which I think is a testament to the cars fluid driving and she hasn’t had any issues.
The Energy Data
I have been tracking the energy usage of my Tesla Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive. The total energy consumption since February has been 2680KWh. This consists of 2292KWh Off Peak (12:30-04:30 Octopus GO), 142KWh Peak (04:30 -12:30 Octopus GO), 100KWh Agile and 84KWh Supercharging.
All of this for 6800 Miles and it has only cost me a grand total of £147.54. This works out to be 48p/Day of ownership and 2.170p/Mile
